Women’s #EqualPayDay is today, and it represents how far into the year women have to work in the new year to earn as much as men earned in the previous one. The most recent calculations show a slight increase over 2022 where women made 83 cents for every dollar men made, but we still have work to do, and especially with regard to women of color where the disparity is far greater.
One of WAHN’s NET-WORK initiatives is to bring awareness to, and create workable solutions for, pay equity issues, and we’re hosting a FREE session with DEI Expert Sarah Pechan Driver where we hit this issue squarely on the head. We’re discussing #PayEquity on April 12th, and we hope you’ll join the conversation.
